It is the goal of the Fayston Elementary School’s Preschool program to create a learning environment where children are actively learning and feel safe, both physically and emotionally. The Fayston Preschool program honors each child’s individuality. We strive to meet children at their developmental level and to nurture their individual growth in all domains as outlined in the Vermont Early Learning Standards (VELS): Approaches to Learning; Social and Emotional Development; Literacy, Language and Communication; Mathematics; Science; Social Studies; Creative Expression; and Physical Development and Health. We work hard to form school-wide relationships with children and their families that ensure optimal long-term success for each child.
